The Event
The Royal British Legion in Wales always launches the Poppy Appeal each year with the first official event - The Wales Festival of Remembrance. This commemorates and honours all those who have lost their lives in conflict since the first world war. This provides the nation a chance to come together and observe key speeches from celebrity hosts, performers, military bands and choral performances.
Our Role...
Production 78 has provided a complete event management service for the Royal British Legion since 2017 To facilitate this, we produce the script, contract the artists, rehearse the live elements on the day including the full Military Muster and Standards parade, we provide and operate all camera equipment, delivery and production, as well as artist liaison for the events performers and hosts.
The RBL in Wales have worked alongside Production 78 for many years now in delivering the planning and production elements of the Wales Festival of Remembrance every November.
They understand the RBLs requirements and work alongside many other relevant stakeholders to plan, deliver and execute a first class event that ensures that service and sacrifice of all in our Armed Forces is valued and recognised each year.
